Doctors remove keys, knife and nail cutters from patient's stomach in Bihar's Motihari

In a bizarre and shocking incident from East Champaran district, Bihar, a young man named Yash underwent surgery that left doctors and his family stunned. Complaining of severe stomach pain, Yash was taken to Dr. Amit Kumar in Motihari, where an X-ray revealed a shocking sight—several iron objects lodged inside his stomach.

Upon further examination, the doctors advised immediate surgery. During the operation, a knife, a bunch of keys, and two nail cutters were removed from Yash's stomach, much to the disbelief of everyone involved. His mother, who resides in the Chandmari area of Motihari, revealed that Yash is mentally ill and had developed a habit of ingesting iron objects, a fact she was unaware of until the surgery.

The situation became even more puzzling when Yash's mother recalled that the key to their Godrej cupboard and two nail cutters had gone missing from their home. She had searched extensively but never suspected that her son might have swallowed them. The boy's health condition is now stable, and the stomach pain has significantly subsided following the surgery.

This strange case has left other patients and their families in the hospital bewildered, questioning how such a situation could have occurred. The family noted that Yash's mental health had deteriorated over time, particularly after prolonged exposure to the mobile game PUBG, which they believe contributed to his erratic behavior.
