A bike rider lost his life after a stray dog suddenly came in front of his bike, causing the vehicle to go out of control and hit a divider. The accident occurred near Salt Lake's KB KC Block. The victim, identified as 24-year-old Devjit Roy, a resident of Salt Lake Shantinagar, was on his way home when the incident took place. Unable to regain control after the dog appeared on the road, Devjit collided with the nearby divider and was thrown off his bike.
Local residents immediately alerted the Bidhan Nagar South Police Station, who quickly arrived at the scene. Devjit was rushed to the Bidhan Nagar Sub-District Hospital by the police, but unfortunately, the doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
While initial reports suggest that the accident was caused by the sudden appearance of the dog, the police are conducting a thorough investigation to determine if any other factors were involved in the incident.
