A tragic plane crash occurred today in the city of Vinhedo, located in Brazil's São Paulo state. The ATR-72 aircraft, operated by Voepass Linhas Aéreas, was carrying 62 passengers on a flight from Cascavel, in the state of Paraná, to Guarulhos in São Paulo when it crashed.

The aircraft plummeted into a densely forested area near Vinhedo, where it was followed by a massive plume of black smoke rising from the crash site.
