In a horrific incident, reported at Kolkata's Nadial police station, a man has been charged under POCSO and other acts for allegedly raping a minor girl multiple times. As per the police report, the accused has been identified as Kachi Thandar.
According to the complaint, the first sexual assault occurred on August 3, around 7:00 PM. The victim was reportedly attacked by the accused in a dark lane near the Bagani building. The accused allegedly threatened the girl with dire consequences if she reported the incident.
Tragically, just a few days later, on August 7, at approximately 7:30 PM, the accused allegedly assaulted the victim again. This time, the incident took place behind a tree at Mandirtala.
The police are treating the case with utmost seriousness, given the nature of the allegations and the involvement of a minor. An investigation is currently underway to gather evidence, interview witnesses, and provide support to the victim and her family.
