In a tragic incident, Ashish Pal, an employee of a prominent online delivery company, lost his life in a road accident in Salt Lake. The accident occurred yesterday evening as Pal was riding his bike from Tank No. 4 to Ramakrishna Island.
According to police sources, he ran into the back wheel of a lorry, which then passed over him. Upon receiving information about the accident, officers from Bidhannagar North Police Station quickly arrived at the scene. They found Pal seriously injured and transported him to a nearby private hospital.
Unfortunately, despite their efforts, Ashish Pal succumbed to his injuries around 9 pm. The police have arrested both the lorry and its driver and are currently investigating the circumstances leading to the accident.
