Vicky Kaushal is going all out to promote his latest release, "Bad Newz." The actor surprised the audience by visiting a late-night show of the film in Mumbai.
On Sunday, Vicky shared a video on Instagram from his Saturday night visit to a cinema hall where "Bad Newz" was playing. Wearing a white kurta, he expressed gratitude to the audience who braved the heavy rains to attend the show. As the end-credit song, "Tauba Tauba," played on the big screen, Vicky sang along with the theatre audience, who captured the moment on their phones.
In the video, Vicky mentioned it was quite late, so he should leave. When fans requested selfies, he joked about staying until 4 am to oblige them. A senior member of the audience requested a picture, and Vicky respectfully hugged him and posed.
"Bad Newz," starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, has earned 19.17 crore at the domestic box office in two days. The film, directed by Anand Tiwari, who is known for his 2018 debut "Love Per Square Foot," collected 8.62 crore on its opening day and 10.55 crore on day two.
The film debuted in theatres nationwide on Friday and has quickly gained traction, with audiences showing immense support despite the adverse weather conditions.
