Lakshya Lalwani's transition from television to film has been met with widespread acclaim, especially for his role in the action-packed film "Kill." Known for its intense action and violence, "Kill" features Lakshya in challenging fight scenes set on a train, impressing both audiences and critics.
In a recent interview, Lakshya expressed his admiration for Ranbir Kapoor, highlighting his secure and down-to-earth nature. “He has no inhibitions at all. I remember that I hung out with Ranbir and interacted with him a couple of times and there is not even an iota of insecurity. He doesn’t give an f* about who is doing what in their lives. He’s just happy with his own space,” Lakshya shared with Showsha.
Lakshya further praised Ranbir's carefree attitude, noting, “He’s not bothered at all. That’s what makes him so secure as an actor and human being. He is a gem of a guy. I love hanging out with him. I love his energy and he is very secure and a brilliant actor. Brilliant.”
Lakshya also spoke about his commitment to authenticity in his performances. He recounted a compliment from Raghav Juyal, saying, “Raghav keeps telling me, ‘Lakshya, what I love about you is how unfazed you’re with how you look on the on-screen.’ In the film, you can see that my spit is coming out. My face is distorted. Everything is like I’m not looking good at all whereas actors get stuck with this feeling that they should look nice. I think that’s also something I really see in Ranbir—that he doesn’t care how he’s looking on screen. He is so secure that it often reflects on-screen.”
"Kill," produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, tells the gripping story of a soldier, played by Lakshya, who turns a train into a bloodbath after his girlfriend, played by Tanya Maniktala, is killed by Raghav Juyal's character.
