Opposition slams Modi government on UP train derailment

Yet another rail accident has put the BJP-led central government in the line of fire from the opposition. Several coaches of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarth express were derailed in UP's Gonda district on Thursday afternoon. According to reports 4 people have been killed in the accident while 20 others are injured.

Targetting the Railway Ministry, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra, Congres chief Mallikarjun Kharge, and several other opposition leaders slammed the Modi government.

The derailment of Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express in UP, is yet another instance of how Modi Govt has systematically jeopardised Rail safety.
