The State Minority Commission team, under the leadership of Commission Chief Haji Hidayatullah, visited Deoghar on Sunday. Commission members Qari Barkat Ali, Iqrarul Hasan, and Sabita Tudu were also present in the Commission's review meeting at Deoghar. It is known that the Commission's team had reached Deoghar Parishad on the night of Sunday, 14th July. A large number of local leaders of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress gave a grand welcome to the Commission's team at Deoghar Parishad.
Local people started reaching the Commission's team with their problems late at night. The Commission took prompt action on all the applications and sent all the cases to the concerned department. In the Commission's review meeting at 3:00 pm on Monday, senior officials of all departments of the Deoghar district administration presented the reports of their respective departments before the Commission. The Commission reviewed all the departmental reports and provided detailed information to the media about the review meeting by holding a press conference at 5:00 pm.
After the Deoghar meeting, the Commission's team left for Dumka late on Monday evening. The review meeting of Dumka district has been scheduled for 16th July at Dumka Parishad. The meeting of the Commission's team with the Dumka District Administration will be held on Tuesday at 3:00 pm. The public problems will be put before the Commission's team by the local people at 2:00 pm in Dumka Parishad.
The Commission has told the people associated with the minority community that they can submit their problems with a written application for a public hearing in Dumka Parishad from 01:30 pm on 16th July. The Commission's team will hold a review meeting with the Dumka District Administration from 3:00 pm. In which a review will be done regarding whether the minorities are getting a share in proportion to their population in all the welfare schemes being run by the government in the district or not.
