Sovan Chatterjee, former Trinamool leader, former Kolkata Mayor, and close aide to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee left the party in 2018. Around the same time, he left his wife Ratna, his house, and his kids.
After a long journey of joining the BJP, leaving the party, divorce cases, and whatnot, Sovan's personal and political life is again in the news.
KMC Mayor Firhad Hakim has said that he wants Sovan to return to his children and also to return to Trinamool. However, looks like Sovan does not like the advice of Firhad. "Whenever talks of my return to the party start, Firhad always brings my personal life in between", said Sovan.
Sovan has also lashed out at his estranged wife and accused her of traveling to various places like Bangkok - Pattaya without his knowledge since 2006.
