BJP leader Priyanka Tibrewal's driver arrested in a suicide case

In the case of the suicide of Deepu Sampui (22), a resident of Canal West Road area under Narkeldanga police station in Kolkata, on July 4, the police arrested the driver of state BJP leader Priyanka Tibrewal. It is alleged that the BJP leader's driver Ashish Chakraborty used to take money from Deepu at regular intervals.

The deceased youth's father Arun Sampui and mother Tukai Sampui have claimed to have taken gold jewellery. They claimed that Ashish used to take money every day because the BJP leader had a hand on his head. He used to get threats on asking for the money back. That incident was going on for a long time. Due to this, Deepu was in mental depression. That is why Deepu committed suicide.

The family members of the deceased have demanded a CID investigation into the entire incident. It is noteworthy that on July 4, Deepu committed suicide at night in the warehouse of Family Decorator's business near his house. However, on July 8, Deep's father Arun complained to the Narkeldanga police station.

It is alleged that the accused Ashish had taken a huge amount of money from Deepu. When Deepu asked for the money from Ashish, he was threatened. The family claims that Deepu committed suicide under this pressure. Deepu's mother Tukai Sampui said that he has been robbing money from many people before. "My 20-year-old son is gone. They took everything from gold jewelry to the money I had saved. I don't understand why money was taken by blackmailing," she said.
