Four constituencies of West Bengal are underway bypoll and as of 5:00 pm, 62.76% of voters have cast their rights. Raiganj recorded 67.12%, Ranaghat Dakshin 65.37%, Bagda 65.15%, and Maniktala recorded 51.39% voter turnout.
Although no major cases of violence have been reported so far. However, mild tensions are being reported from various booths of Ranaghat Dakshin and Bagda.
In Ranaghat Dakshin's booth number 172, voters and Trinamool workers alleged assault by the central forces and BJP goons. Trinamool candidate Mukut Mani Adhikari also arrived at the booth after getting the information.
In visuals, a person can be seen with slight injury marks on his hand. Women voters were also seen raising slogans against the attack.
