Senior politician Mukul Roy has been sick for a long time. He was rushed to a hospital in Kalyani after collapsing at home. After primary treatment there, Mukul Roy was brought to Kolkata. There he was admitted to a private hospital near the EM bypass.
Roy was seriously injured after falling on the floor of the house. In this condition, he was admitted to a hospital on Wednesday night. Roy lives on the second floor of Jugal Bhavan in Kanchrapara. It is known that the Krishnanagar North MLA fell in his house after losing his balance.
In April as well, Roy was admitted to a hospital as he has been suffering from neurological ailments. At that time, Mukul was found to be not eating food properly.
Roy joined the BJP in 2017 and won from Krishnanagar North constituency in the 2021 assembly polls on a ticket of the saffron party, before returning to the ruling party TMC.
