After a fiery speech in Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister on Wednesday addressed the Rajya Sabha. PM Narendra Modi has assured strict action in the NEET question paper leak row. He stated that those responsible will not be spared by the government.
Along with this, he accused the opposition parties of playing politics with the future of the country’s youth. "The President mentioned the paper leak in her speech. I expect the entire house to rise above politics and discuss the issue. Unfortunately, it's being politicized, which is concerning for the country's future," PM Modi remarked
He said this while responding to the Motion of Thanks on the President's address in the Upper House. The PM further asserted, "I assure the youth of our country, this government will not spare those who cheat and scam you".
The Opposition parties have been demanding a detailed discussion on the NEET issue in the Parliament. Both houses witnessed multiple disruptions and walk-outs as the INDIA bloc pressed for an immediate discussion.
