The Monsoon Session of Parliament will commence on July 22 and continue until August 9, according to sources. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is expected to present the budget on the first day.
The government is likely to present the full Budget for 2024-2025 during this session. The Finance Ministry will start its pre-consultation Budget meetings with various ministries and stakeholders by June 17 to prepare for this.
The session will also include the oath-taking or affirmation of newly elected members, the election of the Speaker, the President's address, and subsequent discussions.
