Narendra Modi has been elected as the leader of the NDA parliamentary party. This decision was made during an alliance meeting in Parliament today, supported by key leaders including TDP's Chandrababu Naidu and JDU's Nitish Kumar.
At the Samvidhan Sadan in Parliament, Narendra Modi was welcomed with chants of "Modi Modi" and elected as the leader of Lok Sabha, the BJP, and the NDA Parliamentary Party. Modi, showing reverence, touched the Constitution of India with his forehead upon his arrival.
Chandrababu Naidu praised Modi's relentless campaigning efforts during the election, highlighting his dedication to multiple rallies in Andhra Pradesh that significantly influenced their victory. Rajnath Singh and JP Nadda also expressed their confidence in Modi's leadership and celebrated the NDA's electoral successes across various states.
Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and other prominent leaders like Ajit Pawar and Chirag Paswan were present to show their support for Modi and the NDA. Modi will take oath as Prime Minister for the third time on Sunday, June 9th, at 6 pm.
