Clash between TMC and ISF workers reported from Bhangarh area, days ahead of polling. Trinamool has been accused of attacking ISF workers in Kochpukur area in South 24 Parganas district. On the other hand, the Indian Secular Front has been accused of attacking Trinamool workers in Jirangchha.
Bhangarh comes under Jadavpur Lok Sabha constituency. Youth leader and actress Shayoni Ghosh is the Trinamool candidate from this seat.
According to reports, allegedly, an ISF supporter of the area was forcibly asked to go to Shayoni's rally. However, the ISF supporter didn't took part in the rally. It is alleged that he was beaten up badly after the procession was over.
The injured ISF supporter was taken to Jirangchha Primary Health Center for treatment. After this he lodged a complaint at the police station.
On the other hand, ISF has been accused of beating a Trinamool worker in Jirangchha of Bhagwanpur area. Khairul Islam, member of Bhangarh-2 Block Panchayat Samiti, had reached Jirangchha Primary Health Center to see the injured Trinamool worker.
