A young man was seen running and dancing atop Bakland Bridge, also known as Bangal Babur Bridge. near Howrah Station in West Bengal. The incident occurred when the police from Howrah Police Station arrived at the scene and attempted to coax him down. However, the young man climbed even higher, prompting the involvement of the fire department.
Fire brigade personnel arrived and, after considerable effort, managed to safely bring the young man down. It was later revealed that he was in a distressed mental state. Following his rescue, he was handed over to the police and subsequently taken to the district hospital for medical treatment.
