Stone pelting on paramilitary force, Media in Jhargram's Garhbeta

Protests turned violent in Garhbeta, Jhargram, targeting BJP candidate Prannath Tudu, with allegations of stone-pelting and physical attacks. The incident occurred at booth number 200, where angry women reportedly assaulted Tudu with sticks and bamboo, while his car and a media vehicle were also damaged. A Central Army soldier sustained injuries during the attack on Tudu's vehicle, prompting accusations from Trinamool of BJP's involvement in creating unrest in the area.

BJP candidate Prannath Tudu denied allegations of provocation, stating that he was peacefully present as a candidate and faced opposition slogans of "go back." Tudu emphasized the challenges faced by voters in the area, alleging obstacles to the electoral process. Despite the security presence that helped him escape physical harm.
