At least 10 individuals sustained injuries when a Boeing 737 aircraft, carrying 85 people, skidded off the runway at Dakar's airport, the capital of Senegal, according to a statement from the country's transport minister on Thursday.
Transport minister El Malick Ndiaye stated that the Air Sénégal flight, operated by TransAir, was en route to Bamako late on Wednesday, with 79 passengers, two pilots, and four cabin crew on board.
The injured were rushed to a hospital, and other passengers have been taken to a hotel to rest.
