A viral video, captured from a hidden camera, has ignited debates over the credibility of the Sandeshkhali incident.
In the video, Sandeshkhali II Mandal President, Gangadhar Koyal can be seen agreeing to the statements, "these women have not come out by themselves, it's clear none of them has been raped. But the way these women have been trained and convinced to carry this entire ploy, it took lots of effort. The way you have convinced these women so well, this is a feat in itself."
Further, Gangadhar Goyal states that Shuvendu Adhikari helped with money and mobile phone in this work.
The video's emergence has prompted scrutiny into the purportedly orchestrated nature of the Sandeshkhali event, with allegations implicating opposition leader Shubhendu Adhikari. However, Taaza TV is yet to verify the authenticity of the video.
Trinamool swiftly retaliated after the video's circulation, launching an aggressive social media campaign. Through official channels, Trinamool accused Shubhendu Adhikari of various misdeeds, ranging from allegations of gang rape to weapon confiscation, stirring sentiments among the populace.
However, Gangadhar claims that the voice in the video is fabricated, and he will move to CBI for authentication of the video.
