The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education is set to announce the results for the class 10th examinations on May 2 at 9 am. The examinations for class 10th were held from February 2 to February 12, 2024.
This year, the exam schedule saw a slight modification with exams conducted from 9:45 am to 1 pm, deviating from the usual morning shift timing of 11:45 am to 3 pm. Candidates awaiting their results can check them directly through the official link wbbse.wb.gov.in
In the previous year, the overall pass percentage stood at 86.15 percent, with Devdutt Majhi emerging as the topper of the West Bengal Secondary examination. A total of 6,98,628 students had registered for the Class 10 examinations. Notably, in the 2022 exams, boys outperformed girls, with a pass percentage of 88.59 percent compared to 85 percent for female students. The overall pass percentage for that year was 86.60 percent. The exams were conducted across 2,675 examination centers throughout the state.
