During a public rally in Murshidabad, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addressed the crowd, expressing concerns over the prevailing atmosphere of anarchy in West Bengal. Singh highlighted incidents like Sandeshkhali as emblematic of the state's reputation for crime, promising decisive action if the BJP comes to power.
He stated, "there is an atmosphere of anarchy throughout West Bengal and it is known for crime...Incidents like Sandeshkhali happen on the land of West Bengal...I assure you that this time if BJP government is formed here, we will see who dares to repeat an incident like Sandeshkhali."
