Kolkata metro to be extended till Hooghly's Chuchura? Here's what Railway minister says
In response to a recent broadcast featuring the water crisis and exorbitant prices of water bottles at Howrah Hospital, the administration sprang into action, bringing relief to many amidst scorching temperatures. Prompted by the report aired on Taaza TV, the Howrah District Hospital Administration quickly addressed the issue, repairing all faulty taps.
Just a day earlier, Taaza TV exposed the dire situation of Howrah Hospital, where patients and their family members were forced to purchase water bottles at high prices due to inadequate water supply within the hospital premises. Opportunists taking advantage of the situation started selling water bottles at a higher price. However, following the news coverage, significant improvements were observed, marking a turnaround in the hospital's water availability.
Today, the situation is different with all the taps repaired and functional in contrast to the dry conditions witnessed previously.
