Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
In a heartwarming display of sportsmanship, Royal Challengers Bengaluru's star batter, Virat Kohli, made headlines after gifting his bat to Kolkata Knight Riders' Rinku Singh following the IPL 2024 match between the two teams at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, March 29. This gesture came in the wake of KKR becoming the first team to break a home team's winning streak in the ongoing IPL season, securing a convincing seven-wicket victory over RCB.
KKR's triumph was marked by an impressive chase as they successfully pursued RCB's target of 183 with 3.5 overs to spare. Contributions from Venkatesh Iyer (50), Sunil Narine (47), and skipper Shreyas Iyer (39) bolstered KKR's run-chase, clinching a notable win. Post-match, players from both sides exchanged handshakes, with KKR players extending their sportsmanship by visiting RCB's dressing room for pleasantries.
“One of the great things about this game are, we are constantly challenged. And no matter how experienced or inexperienced we are, we always have to find solutions,” says Coach Andy after our tough night against KKR.
