In a tragic incident occurring during the celebration of Holi in Delhi, a man identified as Manjeet allegedly slit the throat of his wife, Arti, in Baldhawar Colony, Bakhtawarpur, within the jurisdiction of the Alipur police station.
The couple, married for six years, had two children aged three and five. The incident has prompted police intervention, with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate notified to initiate procedures under Section 176 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.According to police reports, the alleged murder took place amidst the festivities of Holi, casting a grim shadow over the occasion. Manjeet stands accused of the heinous act, while investigations are underway to ascertain the motive behind the crime and gather evidence for legal proceedings.
