Once again a temple has been vandalized in Ranchi. The matter is of Umedanda of Budhmu police station area, where anti-social elements have vandalized three temples and broken the idols of God. When the devotees reached the temple on Monday morning to worship, they saw that the Shivalinga, Nandi, idol of Banjarag Bali in the Shiva temple and Pindi and Bhagwati Trishul in the Bhagwati temple had been broken by unknown criminals.
The news spread like wildfire in the area early in the morning. Crowds of angry villagers have started gathering in the temples. Angry people have blocked the road and are demanding strict action against those involved in this incident. After receiving the information, Budhmu police also reached the spot and are keeping an eye on the situation. The station in-charge and DSP are trying to convince people.
