In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Trinamool Congress is assembling a robust team aimed at providing a forceful response to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). A war room is reportedly under construction at the Trinamool Bhawan headquarters, where an array of data is being meticulously prepared to counter the BJP's strategies.
According to reliable sources, Trinamool plans to officially appoint 40 leaders for this task. This team will consist of senior state ministers, spokespersons, seasoned MLAs, and Rajya Sabha MPs, all geared towards mounting a formidable challenge against the BJP.
The war room, not only based at the Trinamool headquarters but also at Abhishek Banerjee's office, will serve as the nerve center for responses to the BJP. Additionally, smaller war rooms are slated for setup in Delhi, Assam, and Shillong, with Trinamool leaders in charge of operations in these locations.
In Kolkata, the responsibility for the war room will fall on leaders such as Chandrima Bhattacharya, Shashi Panja, Arup Biswas, Firhad Hakim, Dola Sen, Shantanu Sen, Partha Bhowmik, Bratya Basu, Sayoni Ghosh, Kunal Ghosh, and Devanshu Bhattacharya. Meanwhile, Derek O'Brien and Sagarika Ghosh will take the helm in Delhi.
Notably, Trinamool is focusing on a strict hierarchy of communication. No leader will be permitted to issue a statement without high command approval, and opinions will be expressed only under the guidance of Trinamool's media cell.
Trinamool's National General Secretary, Abhishek Banerjee, will be kept informed of all developments within the war room. Furthermore, a team comprising MPs and leaders will be readied to mobilize across various districts if the need arises, addressing voter concerns and ensuring effective support.
