The Congress party made a significant announcement on Thursday, unveiling its 'Youth Manifesto' aimed at addressing the concerns of the nation's youth in the lead-up to the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The manifesto, a comprehensive plan designed to empower and support young individuals, outlines several key promises. Among these commitments are a pledge to secure an annual job package of 1 lakh for diploma holders up to the age of 25. Additionally, the Congress party vows to introduce stringent laws to eliminate paper leaks, ensuring a fair and transparent examination process.
Congress also promises to fulfill 30 lakh government job vacancies, and the initiation of 'Yuva Roshni' aimed at fostering startups among individuals below 40 years of age.
In a strong statement against Prime Minister Modi and the ruling BJP, Rahul Gandhi criticized the current government's failure to address the 30 lakh vacant government positions. "There are 30 lakh government vacancies in India. Modi ji doesn't get them filled. The BJP doesn't fill them. After coming to power, our first step will be to fill these posts," Gandhi declared.
