The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has lodged the third supplementary charge sheet in the Land for Job case at Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court, naming Bhola Yadav, close associate of RJD supremo Lalu Yadav, along with two job recipients, Ashok Kumar and Babita, as accused. The court is scheduled to hear the case on March 14, following the submission of the supplementary charge sheet.
The investigation reveals that Bhola Yadav, who served as the secretary to former Railway Minister Lalu Yadav, wielded significant influence and directed officials accordingly. Documents obtained from Bhola Yadav's computer substantiate this claim. The Land for Job scandal unfolded during Lalu Yadav's tenure as Railway Minister, with Bhola Yadav allegedly orchestrating the illicit exchange of land for employment opportunities. While several key figures, including Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Yadav, and Rabri Devi, have been implicated, bail was granted to them on October 4, 2023, following the filing of earlier chargesheets.
