During BJP state president Sukant Majumdar's return from a football tournament in Dhubulia, a car in his convoy met with an accident on Sunday, resulting in Sukant got injured on his head in this incident. Sukant's bodyguard was also injured. Incident occurred on National Highway 12 near Babla Bypass in Dhubulia, as the convoy attempted to overtake a bus and collided with a vehicle ahead due to a police barricade. Subsequently, multiple cars in the convoy collided with the vehicles ahead, causing injuries to Sukant and his bodyguard.
The accident underscores the risks associated with road travel, particularly in convoy situations, where coordination and caution are paramount to prevent such incidents.
