Jammu and Kashmir hit by 5.8 magnitude earthquake, no casualties reported
As the Assembly budget session unfolds in Jharkhand, a contentious issue has taken center stage, resonating from the streets to the legislative chambers—the alleged Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) paper leak. Opposition parties have launched a barrage of criticism against the government, accusing it of failing to address the concerns of students and jeopardizing their future.
The opposition, led by BJP MLAs, has been demanding CBI inquiry asserting "it is a matter of the future of our students, and it has been played with."
In response, State Health Minister Banna Gupta, representing the government, assured the Assembly that steps have already been taken to address the issue. "An SIT (Special Investigation Team) has been formed to investigate the matter," Gupta stated. He further added, "Whoever is found guilty will not be spared."
