A tragic incident unfolded in the East Sinthi Madhugarh area of Nagerbazar police station, where a dispute culminated in the murder of a woman involved in a live-in relationship. Reports indicate that the victim, identified as 30-year-old Sarthak Das, was found lying in a bloody state on the stairs of a multi-storey house.
Despite efforts to save him, Sarthak succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at the hospital. Investigations by the Nagerbazar police revealed that the victim's girlfriend, Sanhati Pal (32), initially attempted to divert attention from the case. However, thorough interrogation by the authorities uncovered that Sarthak had been murdered with a weapon.
