Sunil Bharti Mittal 1st Indian to get Honorary Knighthood from King Charles III

Bharti Enterprises founder and chairman, Sunil Bharti Mittal, has been bestowed with the prestigious Honorary Knighthood, the Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE), by King Charles III in recognition of his contributions to advancing India-UK business relations. Mittal's recognition marks a significant milestone as he becomes the first Indian citizen to receive this esteemed honor.

Expressing his gratitude and humility, Mittal stated, "I am deeply humbled by this gracious recognition from His Majesty, King Charles. UK and India share historical relations, and I am committed to fostering increased cooperation and collaboration between our two nations."
