AAP announces 1000 per month to women if voted back to power
The ED has intensified its efforts in the investigation of a significant fraud case involving a fake call center, with raids being conducted since morning in various locations. The ED team executed a raid in Beniyapukur, targeting a fraud case amounting to approximately Rs 1000 crore. The search operations are focusing on multiple addresses linked to Kunal Gupta, the primary suspect in the case.
According to ED officials, Kunal Gupta, alias Dhrit Kunal, allegedly embezzled around Rs 1000 crore from foreign nationals through a fake call center established in 2005. The accused, who was recently taken into CID custody, is suspected of attempting to tamper with evidence by making calls to associates. The city-wide operation is part of the ongoing probe into fraudulent activities involving fake call centers, with CID having already apprehended Kunal Gupta.
The Enforcement Directorate is conducting searches at various locations, including 11, Tantibagan Lane, Beniyapukur, to unravel the depth of the financial fraud.
