On Friday morning, BJP MP Dilip Ghosh arrived at Kolkata airport, intending to board a flight to Delhi. While at the airport, Ghosh commented on the recent arrest of Arabul Islam, stating that their feud is not a recent development but has escalated to a significant level.
He expressed the belief that the power dynamics in politics often lead to control battles, where those with more political influence tend to dominate others, likening it to a game of chess. Ghosh added that the general public is weary of such political conflicts and atrocities, asserting that there seems to be no resolution, especially when high-profile leaders are involved.
He suggested that the arrest might be a strategic move to divert attention from the Shahjahan Sheikh case.
