Thief trapped by housewife in Behala, arrested by police after failed robbery attempt
At least four private schools in Chennai faced a security scare on Thursday as they received bomb threat emails, leading to the evacuation of students and heightened security measures. The Greater Chennai Police (GCP) confirmed the receipt of these threatening emails and promptly dispatched Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads (BDDS) to conduct Anti-Sabotage Checks in the affected educational institutions.
The incident triggered concerns among parents, who rushed to the schools to pick up their children, while the police assured the public not to panic and stated that actions were underway to identify the individual responsible for sending the threatening emails.
