In Belepratappur, Jagatballabpur, an alarming incident unfolded as street dog attacked and injured 16 individuals in a single day. Local sources report that a particular street dog has been causing distress by biting residents over the past few days. The unsettling situation reached its peak when, from morning till afternoon, the dog attacked 16 people.
Eight of the victims were promptly taken to Beleghata ID Hospital for treatment. However, the alarming spree continued at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, with the same dog biting both children and adults in the area. In response to this sudden surge, local villagers rescued eight more injured individuals, rushing them to Jagatballabpur Rural Hospital. When their conditions worsened, doctors transferred them to a hospital in Kolkata, leaving the community in a state of panic.
