Ministry of External Affairs employee arrested for espionage, accused of working for ISI

UP ATS has arrested an employee posted in the Ministry of External Affairs. This staff named Satyendra Siwal is accused of working for ISI. Satyendra is posted at the Indian Embassy in Moscow. He is originally from Hapur. Satyendra has been posted as India Best Security Assistant IBSA since 2021. This ISI handler is accused of sending out important confidential information of the Indian Embassy, Defense Ministry, External Affairs Ministry, and the Indian Military Institute. During interrogation by ATS Meerut Unit, Satyendra has confessed to espionage. According to sources, UP ATS has shown his arrest from Meerut.

According to the information, Satyendra Siwal is a resident of Hapur. The ATS team has recovered two mobile phones, Aadhaar card, PAN card and some other items from him. UP ATS is still interrogating him further. According to sources, UP ATS was receiving information from many places that the handlers of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI were seducing some employees posted in the Ministry of External Affairs and luring them with money. Confidential information was obtained. After this information, the UP ATS team became active and started keeping an eye on Satendra Siwal. When solid evidence was found regarding his espionage, he was called for questioning.
