Allu Arjun gets interim bail by high court in Pushpa 2 stampede case
Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan has extended an invitation to Champai Soren, a leader of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), to assume the role of the next chief minister. Following the resignation of Hemant Soren, Champai Soren is scheduled to take the oath on Friday, February 2.“We have invited him to take the oath. Now they will decide when to take the oath,” governor's principal secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni told.
The governor's invitation was made after Champai Soren, a loyalist of Hemant Soren, appealed to swiftly acknowledge his claim to form the government amid political uncertainties in the state. Champai Soren is expected to undergo a floor test within the next 10 days to demonstrate his majority.
