In a tragic incident in the Gorabazar area of Dumdum, Kolkata, 68-year-old Tara Sharma was discovered dead in her home. Tara, who had been living alone since her husband's demise six months ago, was found lifeless by her daughter, who became concerned when repeated calls went unanswered. The family asserts foul play in Tara's death, raising suspicions of a possible murder.
Local residents mentioned seeing Tara in the vicinity on Tuesday morning, but her whereabouts thereafter remain unknown.The daughter, concerned about her mother's well-being, contacted the Dumdum police when all attempts to reach Tara failed.
Police arrived, broke into the house, and discovered the lifeless body. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of Tara Sharma's death.
