In a shocking incident that unfolded in broad daylight, three consecutive explosions rocked Kanchrapara, specifically targeting the warehouse of a honey trader. The powerful blasts caused panic in the area, leaving two individuals severely injured, both losing their hands in the explosions.
The incident has stirred unease among the local residents, prompting a swift response from law enforcement. The Bijpur police station dispatched a significant number of officers to the scene, and the Commissioner of Barrackpore Police Commissionerate personally assessed the situation. The blasts left the area filled with smoke and blood, leading to the hospitalization of two critically injured individuals. Allegations from locals point towards a deliberate act, accusing miscreants of targeting businessman Madhu Roy's warehouse. The daughter of the warehouse owner, Anita Carey, reported that she, along with her ailing mother, narrowly escaped harm by rushing inside their house upon hearing the bomb blasts.
