Allu Arjun gets interim bail by high court in Pushpa 2 stampede case
On the 125th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made a heartfelt appeal to the Central Government, urging the declaration of the day as a National Holiday. In a tweet, CM Banerjee expressed her desire for the entire nation to pay homage to the iconic leader on what she termed as #DeshNayakDibas.
CM Banerjee wrote on X "Centre must also declare January 23 as a National Holiday. #DeshNayakDibas."
Mentioning the state's contribution, she wrote "A university named after Netaji is also being set up which shall be funded entirely by the state, and will have tie-ups with foreign universities."
