Governor seeks security details in Bengal amidst concerns on Ram Mandir event day

Amidst fear raised by opposition parties regarding a potential law-and-order crisis in West Bengal on January 22, coinciding with the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Governor CV Anand Bose has taken a proactive step by writing to Chief Secretary BP Gopalika.

The Raj Bhavan official has confirmed that the Governor is seeking comprehensive details of the security arrangements made by the state government for that particular day. The official mentioned that an email has been dispatched to Gopalika, and a physical copy of the letter will soon be delivered to the Chief Secretary.

This move follows Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's announcement of organizing a 'Samprati Rally' on the day of the 'Pran Pratistha' of the Ram Temple.
