Potato traders to go on strike if Bengal doesn’t allow selling to other states
Indian low-cost carrier Akasa Air, supported by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's family, has recently placed an order of 150 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft as part of its strategic move to consolidate its position in the rapidly expanding Indian aviation market.
The announcement was made at the "Wings India" air show in Hyderabad. The order includes narrow-body Boeing aircraft designed for flights to nearby foreign destinations, including Southeast Asia and the Middle East, contributing to the airline's comprehensive expansion plan.
Akasa’s total order book now stands at 226 aircraft, bolstering its domestic and international expansion plans, according to the statement.
Akasa currently flies to 18 cities across India, including the busiest Mumbai-New Delhi route, and plans to expand its network to the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
