PM Modi, in anticipation of the forthcoming consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya's Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on January 22, shared a Ram bhajan sung by the late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.
The Prime Minister expressed that India would miss its beloved "nightingale of India" and mentioned that the shared shlok was Mangeshkar's last recording before her passing on February 6, 2022, at the age of 92. The bhajan, titled 'Shree Ramarpan, Mata Ramo Matpita Ramchandrah,' was shared by PM Modi on his X platform, honoring Lata Didi.
The week-long Pran Pratishtha rituals for Ram Lalla in the newly constructed Ram Janmabhoomi Temple commenced on Tuesday, featuring atonement ceremonies and Panchgavyaprashan with the five elements from the cow.
The idol of Lord Ram Lalla is scheduled to tour the temple premises on Wednesday, and the consecration ceremony on January 22 will be presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Over 7,000 guests, including 3,000 VVIPs, have been invited for the event, and the temple will open for public 'darshan' from January 23.
