Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Dishom Guru Shibu Soren's 80th birthday was celebrated with enthusiasm across Jharkhand, marked by cake-cutting ceremonies and welfare activities. Party workers, led by District MP representative Sanjeev Samu Hembram, distributed blankets and fruits to the elderly at Sadar Hospital and Sneh Sparsh Old Age Ashram.
During the celebrations at the Chief Minister's residence cum party office complex in Dharampur, Central Committee member Sanjay Goswami highlighted Shibu Soren's pivotal role in the formation of Jharkhand as a separate state. The workers expressed gratitude for Soren's lifelong dedication to tribal upliftment and acknowledged the significant contributions of his son, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, in the progress of Jharkhand.
The celebration underscored Shibu Soren's enduring commitment to the welfare of the tribal people of Jharkhand, encompassing campaigns against money lending and usury, along with the movement for a separate state.
