On the court's directives, the Delhi Police Special Cell has dispatched a team to Gujarat's Ahmedabad district to oversee the ongoing Narco test of two key accused, Manoranjan D. and Sagar Sharma, involved in the Parliament Breach case. The investigation has escalated, with a Polygraph and Narco-analysis being conducted on five out of six accused, including Sagar Sharma, Manoranjan D., Amol Shinde, Lalit Jha, and Mahesh Kumawat.
The Delhi Police Special Cell's decision to conduct the Narco test stems from a revelation made during earlier interrogations. Accused Lalit Jha disclosed that Manoranjan D. was the primary architect of the security breach and had ambitions to establish a significant organization, for which he sought funding. Sagar Sharma, under Manoranjan's influence, was entrusted with recruiting members for the organization.
Lalit expressed surprise at the imposition of UAPA charges, indicating their initial expectations of becoming public figures and spreading their propaganda through extensive funding. The investigation seeks to determine the true mastermind behind the Parliament infiltration, focusing on whether it was instigated by anti-national forces, involved foreign funding, or is linked to terrorist activities.
