AAP announces 1000 per month to women if voted back to power
In a significant political development, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with an ambitious strategy. Party sources reveal that the BJP plans to announce its candidates in late January or early February, aiming to contest over 400 out of the total 543 seats. The primary objective is to secure a remarkable 50 percent vote share.
According to sources, the BJP is adopting a strategic approach by focusing on constituencies where it faced challenges or had narrow victories in the previous elections. The party's template emphasizes contesting on "more seats," with a special focus on 164 constituencies where it struggled in 2019. Bharatiya Janata Party garnered 37.4% of the votes in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
BJP charts its electoral course, the Congress party, in contrast, has communicated a more conservative approach. Reports indicate that the Congress is contemplating fielding candidates in 255 seats, signaling a willingness to contest from a lesser number compared to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
