Tejashwi Yadav's meeting with the Dalai Lama aligns with the state government's commitment to improving tourism facilities in Bodh Gaya. Yadav highlighted the Tourism Department's elaborate arrangements for devotees and emphasized the ongoing beautification work at the Maha Bodhi temple. Notably, CM Nitish Kumar had previously met the Dalai Lama on December 21, inviting him for the inauguration of the Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum and Memorial Stupa in Vaishali. The museum, constructed on 72 acres of land, will house a relic of Lord Buddha discovered in an archaeological excavation in Vaishali. The visit underscores Bihar's efforts to promote cultural and religious tourism, enhancing the overall experience for pilgrims and tourists alike.
